Hello.

Thanks for stopping by. I’m a lifestyle journalist and former assistant food & wine editor. I’ve written about style and people for Intelligent Life since 2010 and have a monthly colour column in Elle Decoration. I’ve also written for the Economist online, the Evening Standard and House & Garden, and I was a judge at the 2013 International Chocolate Awards. I’m fond of all sorts of things including, but most definitely not limited to, clothes and jewellery I can’t afford, historical style, beautiful books, chocolate, spaghetti carbonara, old movies and stationery. At my blog you will find all these things and more. It’s about style, food, design and anything else that catches my magpie-like eye. I hope you enjoy it.
